Hubei Daily News: Based on a remote-controlled power consumption management system, people's production and living expenses are not small "electric tigers", and the quilt is put on the reins. The device automatically "sleeps" when it is not needed to save energy. Yesterday, Howard Mitchell, former chairman of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), visited Wuhan and affirmed the system.
It is understood that this system was developed by Zheng Guilin, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Power and Mechanics of Wuhan University, and the Guangzhou Suntrans Control System Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. was established to realize industrialization.
According to Zheng Guilin, every family wastes electricity more or less. With an intelligent system, when a person leaves the room, the sensor will automatically instruct the light bulb to power off and go to sleep, and the light will automatically turn on when a person enters. Through Internet technology, consumers can also remotely power off standby appliances at home on the mobile APP. In large factories, electric motors, gates, boilers, central air conditioners and other power equipment with higher power consumption levels have even more amazing energy consumption. Many equipment are idling for a long time even if they are not working. After intelligent management and control, producers can precisely schedule and master each piece of equipment, saving energy and increasing efficiency.
It is understood that more than 3,000 students in the student apartments of Wuhan University have used the "Internet + Intelligent Power Management" system. Through the mobile phone APP, students and administrators can monitor, control and pay for electricity consumption in the dormitory in real time, reducing waste such as no lights in the dormitory and lights in the daytime, and the energy saving efficiency reaches 54%.
